In-system/On-board programming (ISP/OBP)

Arxtron Technologies has a wealth of experience in non volatile memory In-system programming ISP (also called On-board programming OBP) and offers a wide variety of programming solutions to fit cost and programming time requirements of its customers. Depending on production volumes, production heart beat time, panelization, programming data (static vs. dynamic), and other production requirements, we work with our customers to determine which solution is best suited for them and our programming solutions can be either integrated with the In-circuit application on the Keysight3070/Agilent3070/HP 3070 (Medalist i3070) tester or a standalone programming station.

1) In-circuit Integrated In-System Programming using native Keysight3070/Agilent3070/HP3070 (Medalist i3070) software:

Arxtron Technologies combines its strong programming capabilities with the latest techniques available on the Keysight3070/Agilent3070/HP 3070 (Medalist i3070) tester to bring to its customers cost effective and time efficient solutions. We cover a wide range of target devices and communication/programming protocols. A non exhaustive list includes:

2) In-circuit Integrated In-System Programming using external third party programmers:

When the use of a native Agilent3070/HP 3070 (Medalist i3070) programming solution is rendered impracticable by production requirements such as heart beat or panelization, Arxtron technologies offers solutions that involve the integration of third party programmers in the In-circuit application. This solution has the following advantages:

  • Faster programming times
  • Batch programming (Multiple boards in //)
  • Multiple loads handling
  • Automated data loading (No operator intervention)
  • Re-use of the programmers for similar fixtures/products
  • Support of RS232, USB and Ethernet control
3) Standalone programming stations

When production requirements prevent the integration of programming in the In-circuit application, Arxtron Technologies offers solutions to program target devices using standalone programming stations:

 

  • JTAG stations: Goepel, JTAG Technologies, Asset, Corelis
  • Third party programmers: Cyclone-Pro, FlashGroup, BlackBox, Gryphon, CycloneRenesas
